ADVAN’s Inaugural Industry Dialogue Holds March 15

The Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) has finalised plans to host its inaugural industry dialogue involving stakeholders across different segments of the marketing and marketing communications industry.

The programme which comes up 2pm on Wednesday, 15th of March 2017 at the Star Academy centre, Nigeria Breweries Headquaters, Iganmu-Lagos, will focus on the theme: Industry Trends (Nigeria) and its implication. The gathering will also reflect on issues bothering on regulatory policies, agency relations, digital media as well as mainstream media.

A statement released by ADVAN and signed by its Executive Secretary, Ediri Ose-Ediale, explains that the ADVAN Industry Dialogue is an exclusive platform for the discourse of issues affecting the marketing community in Nigeria.

“The platform will provide a meeting point for stakeholders to discuss crucial issues. Topics will range from media effectiveness, to discussions on regulatory policies, agency relations, data compilation and much more.” it states.

Discussants will include: Alhadji Garba Bello Kankarofi, CEO APCON; Mr Mobolaji Sanusi, Managing, LASAA; Mr. Kayode Oluwasona, President AAAN; Mr David Okeme, President ADVAN/CMO Remita System Specs; Mr Lanre Adisa, CEO Noah’s Ark and Mrs Joan Ihekwaba, 1st Vice-President ADVAN/GM Marketing UAC Foods.

Other speakers include Steve Babaeko, CE0 X3M Ideas; Emeka Okeke, CEO Media Fuse Dentsu, Elvis Ogienwanye, Director, Brand Experience, Etisalat, Mrs Bukola Oluyadi, Head, Brand Management, Firstbank Nigeria Plc and Tony Agenmonmen, President, NIMN.

The programme is one of ADVAN’s initiatives to support industry development by creating a meeting point for stakeholders to discuss and resolve critical concerns.
